Math: Subtraction- Using objects strategy Please watch the “Subtraction Using Objects” instructional video. This will be an attachment in your email. Find different objects (paper clips, pennies, Legos, etc.) around the house you can use to solve these problems. Write your answers on a separate sheet of paper or use the drawing tool on seesaw and post. 4-2= 8-1= 6-0= 10-5= 7-7= 9-3= Reading: Please watch the video: “Avid Readers Reflect”. This will be assigned on Seesaw. Then complete the assignment below. Login to RAZ kids and choose a book on your reading level. Think about your Super Powers! Practice being an avid reader. ▪Which Super Powers did you use? ▪Is there a Super Power you used the most? ▪Is there one you used the least? Draw a picture of how you used one of your Super Powers to help you. Then draw a Super Power that you don’t use often, but want to try to use more. Post to Seesaw. Phonics: Login to Seesaw and complete the activity on the word endings –ing, -ang, -ong, and –ung. Then record yourself reading them to your teacher. Writing: Write a third fact page about your topic for your All About Book. Social Studies: Log into Classlink and go into BrainPop Jr. Type in “Needs and Wants” in the search box. Watch the video and complete the easy quiz at the end. Addiional/Optional: 20 minutes of iRead/20 minutes of iReady Math
